Standard Operating Procedure
- As an initiative from the Govt. of Puducherry, Department of Planning and Research, the efforts are being taken to have the common Database as a Single Source of Truth.

The Department will have two important Roles
- Nodal Officer - (Basically of Superintendent/ Assistant / Programmer level)- Will prepare the data as per the prescribed format
- Head of the Department - (HoD / DD / Dy. Director level) - Will approve the uploaded data by the Nodal officers.
- The uploaded data will be validated and verified through automation process. In case of any validation error the records / batch will be rejected. The system will display the possible errors. The rejected data can be submitted after correcting the errors.
- Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs data will be taken as Mother data. The uploaded data will be verified and validated against the mother data.
- After verification, the data will be a part of Golden Record of the particular Department.
- The authorised department will be able to update the allowed field values, which will be notified by Department of Planning and Research, Govt. of PY.
- The updated data will be available for the concerned Department for de-duplication and cross referencing.

- Since the data is dynamic in nature. Department will periodically update the existing records. Care should be taken to maintain the integrity of the data.
- The Email Id will be the user name.
- OTP will be send to the Mobile and Email , keep ready to register.
