Standard Operating Procedure
  1. As an initiative from the Govt. of Puducherry, Department of Planning and Research, the efforts are being taken to have the common Database as a Single Source of Truth.
  2. The Department will have two important Roles
    • Nodal Officer - (Basically of Superintendent/ Assistant / Programmer level)- Will prepare the data as per the prescribed format
    • Head of the Department - (HoD / DD / Dy. Director level) - Will approve the uploaded data by the Nodal officers.
  3. The uploaded data will be validated and verified through automation process. In case of any validation error the records / batch will be rejected. The system will display the possible errors. The rejected data can be submitted after correcting the errors.
  4. Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs data will be taken as Mother data. The uploaded data will be verified and validated against the mother data.
  5. After verification, the data will be a part of Golden Record of the particular Department.
  6. The authorised department will be able to update the allowed field values, which will be notified by Department of Planning and Research, Govt. of PY.
  7. The updated data will be available for the concerned Department for de-duplication and cross referencing.

  9. Since the data is dynamic in nature. Department will periodically update the existing records. Care should be taken to maintain the integrity of the data.
  10. The Email Id will be the user name.
  11. OTP will be send to the Mobile and Email , keep ready to register.
